(Ages 12-16)
Leadership is the ability to inspire, communicate, motivate, encourage, and support your and others' quest for excellence in all aspects of life. Students will participate in an interactive workshop environment designed to encourage the learning and discovery of the concepts and practices of leadership, including goal setting, attitude development, communication skills, positive role modeling, personal responsibility, achievement, action planning, teamwork, and the 7 habits of highly effective teens. Learning by doing. Through the week students will work together on a community volunteer project of their choosing to be completed on the last day of camp. Students will be involved in all aspects of planning the project from initial brainstorming to the final execution.
